Purposes and legal bases

  • Service operation and translation processing for your submitted request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – contract).
  • Security, availability, request validation, and abuse prevention (including rate limiting) (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interests).
  • No analytics, marketing tracking, or optional replay/telemetry system is active in this tool.

Categories of data processed

  • Translation request data: schedule text/cron, direction, locale, timezone, and requested preview count.
  • Technical metadata: IP-derived rate-limit key, request ID, timestamps, and protocol metadata required for secure operation. Internal server error logs are limited to request ID and error code and do not include raw schedule text.
  • No file uploads are processed by this tool.

Recipients and processors

  • Vercel (EU region fra1): application hosting, CDN delivery, and logging within the EU.
  • Data is processed only to deliver translation and core security controls for this tool. No additional analytics or advertising processors are configured in app code.

Technical cookies and storage

We only use storage required for language and UI preferences. No marketing or advertising cookies are set.

  • NEXT_LOCALE: stores selected language for localized routes/content.
  • looptapper-theme (cookie): stores selected theme preference.
  • looptapper-theme (localStorage): stores selected theme locally to prevent flicker and preserve preference.

Retention

Schedule content is not persisted by design. Translation is processed per request and returned in the response only. Temporary rate-limit buckets are kept in server memory for a short rolling window (currently 60 seconds per bucket) and evicted automatically. No application database is used by this tool.

International data transfers

Routine processing runs on EU-hosted infrastructure (Vercel region fra1). No routine transfer outside the EEA is intended. If a transfer becomes necessary, appropriate safeguards (for example SCCs) are applied.

Your Rights

  • Access to your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR).
  • Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR).
  • Erasure ('right to be forgotten', Art. 17 GDPR).
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR).
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).
  • Objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR).
  • Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Policy Updates

This privacy policy may be updated if legal or technical requirements change. The latest version published on this page applies.
